Bachmann joins Planet Roof family of companies; plans to secure Western Penn market.
Lance Bachmann, founder of Bristol, Pa.-based LB Capital and serial entrepreneur, announced on Tuesday that his holding company has completed its acquisition of My Pittsburgh Roofing to add it to his Planet Roof portfolio firm.
My Pittsburgh Roofing, founded by Bachmann in 2023 and now managed by LB Capital, has joined Munz Roofing, Only the Best Builder and Jim Rhubart Roofing as one of three successful roll-ups of roofing companies owned by LB Capital.
Lance Bachmann founded LB Capital in early 2023 and it has rapidly grown since: in addition to roofing companies across the U.S., Bachmann has expanded into multiple tech firms, real estate investments, HVAC/Plumbing firms, and tech start-ups.
My Pittsburgh Roofing, which services areas north of Pittsburgh, joins Planet Roof as part of Bachmann’s regional plan. According to its release, Planet Roof has long been considered a “staple” in counties south of Pittsburgh for many years and this merger solidifies Bachmann’s plan further. Additionally, LB Capital owns Link Roofing of Altoona which also services customers throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Bachmann noted, “We are creating something very special here in Western Pennsylvania,” adding: “By joining forces with Planet Roof and Link Roofing we knew we were creating a formidable presence around Pittsburgh and Altoona; thus it made sense for us to add My Pittsburgh Roofing before rolling it up similar to Munz.
Bachmann said LB Capital’s roofing companies, such as Munz Roofing, Jim Rhubart Roofing and Lee’s Roofing of Central and Northern California; as well as Utah-based Roofing Pups Utah Maryland Georgia South Carolina (RPUT SC); as well as their annual conference “Roofing Process Conference”, are on track to achieve $100 Million in revenues this year.
Bachmann will participate in the Roofing Process Conference in Marco Island, Florida from December 4-6 and address “everything related to buying, building, marketing, growing, scaling and selling roofing companies. So its clear that LB Capital Continues Roll-Ups with Purchase of My Pittsburgh Roofing.
“That is why I wake up every day; to help people build and scale businesses,” Bachmann noted. “The Roofing Process Conference will provide three days-worth of knowledge.”
